Happy second advent!!
It’s december and you aren’t in a christmas mood yet?? You better take out your mixing bowls and preheat your oven, because we’re going to bake today : )
250g curd cheese
1 1/2dl sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Melt the butter in a pot. Add the milk.
Crumble the yeast directly in a bowl. Pour the milk-butter mixture over the yeast. Blend until the yeast melts.
Add the curd cheese, saffron, sugar, salt and most of the flour. Knead until the dough is smooth. Let it rise under a cover for ca 40min.
Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it again. Add more flour if needed. Form Lussekatter, braids etc. Put them on a baking tray and let them rise to the double size.
Coat with a beaten egg. Garnish with raisins and decorating sugar. Bake in the oven for 8-10min.
