Rats with fluffy tails.

That’s what you call squirrels in some countries. At least in Germany. Because the German word for squirrel is just as ridiculous as the english one: Eichhörnchen. Everyone go ahead and try to pronounce that! :D

This was the first time I got to try out my new lens on animals and I’m so so glad for it! It’s just a little hard to keep track of the animal especially when it’s that tiny and fast! Sometimes you just get to capture their lovely back..

But here are the ones were the little furry rats sat down for a millisecond:

  1. I never thought of squirrels as “rats with fluffy tails” before, but you’re right! They are! I will never look at them the same way from now on ;)
Out of curiosity, what lens did you get?

  2. EKKORN :-D I think they are cute n matter what people call them :-D (even if the tail is the only thing that makes them adorable, but I think their whole manner is cute – they are gatherers :-)
