Rats with fluffy tails.

That’s what you call squirrels in some countries. At least in Germany. Because the German word for squirrel is just as ridiculous as the english one: Eichhörnchen. Everyone go ahead and try to pronounce that! :D

This was the first time I got to try out my new lens on animals and I’m so so glad for it! It’s just a little hard to keep track of the animal especially when it’s that tiny and fast! Sometimes you just get to capture their lovely back..

  1. I never thought of squirrels as “rats with fluffy tails” before, but you’re right! They are! I will never look at them the same way from now on ;)
    Out of curiosity, what lens did you get?

  2. EKKORN :-D I think they are cute n matter what people call them :-D (even if the tail is the only thing that makes them adorable, but I think their whole manner is cute – they are gatherers :-)
