Road trip part II: Windmills and red poppy.
That’s what you will find on the island Öland. Besides rocks of course! And rain! At least that is what we found. And since it was raining cats and dogs outside, we didn’t really leave our car that much. But grandpa stopped the car every once in a while for me to take some pictures. Thank god the island was pretty lonely that day and no other cars had to build a line behind us.
The wooden windmills are supposed to be form the 17th century and can be found all over the island. And so are the stones! Some of them still have the rune carvings in them. The big one on the picture below was suppose to be a gravestone.
