And this time without chocolate.

Right now I’m basically living my life on Pinterest. And it looks amazing! My home is styled, my kids are pretty and everything I bake looks delicious. But I think it’s time to get real. To transform some of the pins to my real life board. And since it’s easier to put together a nice little cake than rearranging your furniture, I decided to try out one of the amazing recipes from my Pinterest life:

Blueberry Lime Cream Cheese Pound Cake

1 1/4 (300ml) cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (120ml) butter
4oz (100g)cream cheese
2/3 (150ml) cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tblsp vanilla sugar
2 tblsp lime zest
1 cup (230ml) blueberries

Frosting
4oz (100g) cream cheese
4 tblsp butter
1 1/2 cups (350ml) powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar

The same procedure as every time: mix all the dry ingredients together and then the rest in a seperate bowl. Add the egg mixture to the dry one et viola, your batter is ready to rumble! Add the frosting after the cake has cooled down and enjoy :) I took the cake with me to work and it’s already gone. Either it was too small or we have gnomes in the office that steal our cakes!
