After 4 years in Stockholm it’s starting to get hard to find new spots and sights. Therefore it’s always handy to meet new people and ask them about their favorite discoveries. So I couldn’t believe it when on Saturday last weekend, I was introduced to Stockholm’s smallest statue: little boy who looks at the moon. It’s a teeny-tiny statue of 15 cm and people usually knit teeny-tiny hats and scarves for him. I could have stolen that boy, he was so cute! I even found these superstitions about him on wikipedia:
- Who runs 3 times around the sculpture counterclockwise comes certainly will be back to Stockholm.
- Who strokes head of the sculpture 3-times and makes a wish, the wish will come true in a year.
- Who leaves the sculpture a treat (money or candy), in the same year will have addition to the family.
Maybe I should go back and try one of those. Probably not the last one tho..
